The changes made by the trainer are designed to help new players of Absolution if they are not already familiar with every aspect of the game. This trainer includes one of the smaller but more important manual edits to Absolution that I've seen. Everyone is forgetting about the PS3's external hard drive. The precision of this edit is amazing. To use:
Run the Absolution installer you just made. It should run successfully (goes to 100% and doesn't crash). When it finishes you will have a launcher that looks like this (it's the one that comes up while you are in Absolution).
Now that Absolution is running go to your PS3's computer and connect the PS3 to the hard drive of your computer. Go to the folder called Absolution (it should be in the same location on the PS3 and your computer).
On the PS3 search for 'Absolution.cfg'. It should be there. If it isn't look for '.inject_cfg'. You will know it is there and in the correct folder because it should be named exactly that, in all caps. Open that file in notepad, and change the strings in the strings section to reflect whatever you want them to.
