Battlebox

The models in this category each come in a battlebox starter set. The box contents are designed to be played "straight out of the box" - they're relatively balanced vs each other, and the models are relatively simple to use so you can instead focus on learning the core mechanics of the game. Note: Battleboxes are cheaper than picking up the contents individually, but are also made out of a poorer quality plastic.

Over the past month or two, several of my friends have been building a battlebox of pauper decks. A battlebox is a collection of decks designed to be played against each other rather than to beat a specific metagame. The goal is to have as many matchups as possible be enjoyable to play and relatively balanced, although there are a few actual tier decks in the mix.
