I have the technxt bluetooth usb adapter and bluetooth software version 6.0.6. I have the 3.0 firmware and the driver software from Technxt. I have installed the technxt software on my PC and it detects the bluetooth hardware and that is good. When I try to install the technxt software on my bluetooth dongle then the dongle will not work. The bluetooth software says that the hardware is not connected. I have no blue indicator light on the dongle.

I have with bluetooth connector from technxt this is the one which is shown in the manual as the correct one. The manual says it is compatible with windows 7 and newer. I have windows vista. It doesn't make any difference if I have the bluetooth software downloaded or not, it always says the device is not connected
