The software was completely unknown to me and since my Mavic was just charging, I looked for the DJI Assistant for the Mac. Sometimes you don't believe how hard it is to find such an easy download. After a few hits on forums and a 404 error on DJI.com itself, I finally found it.

There in the right area you will find the link to the DMG for the Mac. I've marked it in the screenshot below. I hope this brings you to the right software. I would have linked the current version directly, but as soon as DJI releases a new version, the download link would no longer be correct ... that is also not the point.
