Being able to speak and express yourself in the language is what makes life easier if you move here. if this communication is very important for you, especially if you are not yet retired and about to embark on some kind of work, business or even a hobby that involves other people--have to really learn the language. That's not easy to do anywhere anyway, making friends and building life around you- imagine not speaking the language. You will be missing English even if it's not your native language, especially if you come from even a fairly big city.
